Common Questions
Do you pay in cash? ▼
No. Under the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013, it is illegal to pay cash for scrap metal. We pay instantly via Bank Transfer or Cheque upon collection.
Do you take Fridges or Freezers? ▼
Generally, no. Fridges are classed as hazardous waste due to the gasses. We can only accept them if they have a certificate proving they are fully degassed. We recommend your local council for disposal.
Is there a minimum collection amount? ▼
For free collection, we usually require a reasonable amount (e.g., a washing machine, a few radiators, or a car). For very small amounts, we may ask you to drop it off or wait until we are next in your area.
